Dry process barrel finishing techniques can produce polished surfaces on many different types of plastic parts of exceptional quality, in amy cases rivaling hand buffed surfaces. The difference being that parts are not individually handled but are processed in bulk. In these kinds of precesses, a multi-sequence procedure is used to remove tooling marks and deflash or radius shap edges, and secondary processes using dry media with ultra-fine abrasives to produce highly reflective and lustrous plastic surfaces
